I, Martin Pillon, come from a farming family, am an enthusiastic fruit and wine producer and have been letting holiday apartments since 2004. My parents, Hildegard and Wilhelm are still actively engaged in the business.
I, Kathrin Pillon, have been living on the farm since 2008. I designed the farm portfolio and together with Martin, look after the guests and from time to time produce many traditional sweet delicacies on the farm.
Together with our son Elias we take renewed pleasure each day in our little paradise and enjoy the life on our Bruggnhof. In the midst of greenery and yet very accessibly located, we live a happy life, balanced between relaxing peace and quiet, opportunities for active leisure activities and daily work.
So that you know that you are in good hands, when you stay with us, we are delighted to give you a glimpse into life on the farm, to tell you about natural surroundings and our culture and to give you personal tips to plan the best days of the year.
We are proud of our farm portfolio, which puts all the information our guests need about our Bruggnhof, our village of Kaltern, the Eschtal valley and the whole of South Tyrol at their fingertips at any time.

A special holiday experience at the Bruggnhof is the weekly guided tour of the orchards in the months of April to October (Friday afternoon 4 pm), in association with Kaltern Tourist Association (6,00 € p.p). On a walk through fruit orchards and vineyards you will learn interesting details on the topic of 'Integrated Apple-growing in South Tyrol'. The tour is rounded off with a tasting of different types of apples.

Our farm shop is something special for our guest and a challenging task form e: depending on the seasonal products, I look forward to preparing fruit spreads, fruit juices, chutneys, dried fruit, pickled vegetables and other culinary delights for our guests. In the winter months I let my creativity run wild. In doing so I accept with pleasure support from our guest children. So handicraft work is twice the fun!
